A new consortium has been created in Western France. Centred around the factory of the 21st century, this new consortium looks to respond to the challenges that modern factories face as they struggle to face up to the industrial, technological and social challenges of the coming century.

Built upon eleven transversal projects involving the implication of 4 world-class laboratories that represent eight educational institutions, this project is the first of its kind.
